tasks that need to get done around the house

always fighting about who's turn it is to do the dishes? you may benefit from having a 'to-do' list where someone who's better at doing dishes will do them all the time while the one who hates laundry or cleaning toilets the least gets to do that every single time. This may not work for everyone but I will be trying it with the Wetcat and let you know how it goes! He is definitely resilient to even creating the list because he feels threatened by it. Something like this probably goes in his mind : if we have a list of things that need to get done she will know how little I've been doing and I will have a million more things to do after it. No way I'm allowing her to do such an atrocity! BUT some things just need to get done and regardless of how much you ignore that pile of laundry it will not disappear or do itself so here goes my list of what needs to get done around our place. We don't have a backyard yet (I'm hopeful that we eventually will and that I will grow veggies and fruits and all sorts of Utopia worthy things that I probably won't have time for when I do end up with such a place but you know...dreams are free), and our laundromat is within a walking distance but far enough that doing laundry every day isn't an option (I'm not comfortable with leaving the kids by themselves while I go throw in a load 'real quick'). Also, Wetcat works at an auto-repair shop so oil changes aren't so much of a 'trip to the repair shop' as much as it is just taking this or that car (we own two vehicles) to work on a given day.
Here goes my non inclusive list of things:

humm.. nevermind one list, lets make a bunch of them with a different post for each one! Never thought there was so much to clean but many of the tasks dont take too long so it can be done. AGH will divide in daily, weekly, monthly, seasonally, nice to-do and as needed (probably won't get done until the sight of it may make you want to throw up but you know... it's in the list), to make it even easier to follow I might have an initial or three to make it easier to tell what task you have time to do. Will probably write initials to represent things like:

how long it takes to do each task (5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 1+ hours)
